The police said that the act sent the deceased into the path of oncoming traffic and he collided head-on with a minivan driven by Josefa Ortiz Silva, 59. The impact of the collision ended Aceto’s life at the scene, and the medics pronounced him dead.
The female driver and her 64-year-old male passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at the University Medical Center. The investigators are trying to figure out what made the deceased leave his lane.
