20-year-old Kaleb Solomon Isaiah Berry would need a drunk driving attorney to represent his interest following his arrest by the California Highway Patrol in Mill Valley, California. They took the suspect into custody early Wednesday morning, June 17th.
According to the CHP, the event that led to the young man’s arrest started around 1 a.m. after an officer sighted a 1999 Honda Civic travelling over 80 mph on southbound Highway 101 south of Paradise Drive. The lawman followed Berry onto the East Blithedale Avenue off-ramp and saw him crash for the first time.

The officer activated the siren lights and approached the vehicle, but the man sped away down a dirt hill and back on the highway. Officers from the Mill Valley Police chased Berry until he exited at Seminary Drive and crashed for the second time. CHP Officer Andrew Barclay said the suspect’s car got stuck on a curb, and they arrested him when he tried to flee.
A search of the Honda uncovered a stolen handgun in a concealed compartment with an illegal 30-round magazine. The police booked him into Marin County Jail in place of $35,000 bail bond. Jail records showed that Berry is facing charges of possessing a stolen weapon, carrying a concealed handgun loaded with a high-capacity magazine, and intoxicated driving.
Intoxicated driving is a severe offence in California and punishable by law. An offender would have to appear in court, pay a fine, have his or driver’s license suspended, and attend a compulsory alcohol education program.
