A man who was riding a motorcycle without a helmet on Sunday, February 2nd, crashed near Avenue and Greenway Road. The man survived the accident, but the fact that he was not wearing a helmet most likely contributed to the serious injuries he sustained in the accident.
He was transported to the hospital by rescue workers in extremely critical condition. The intersection where the crash took place was closed to traffic while the police investigators tried to determine the cause of the crash and collected evidence.

No one else was injured in the accident. It appears the man simply lost control of his motorcycle and swerved off the road. Speed, weather conditions, and inebriation are all potential factors related to the cause of the accident. However, police are not sure if any of these definitely contributed to the accident.
After the police collected all of the evidence they needed, and the motorcycle debris was cleaned from the road, the road was reopened to traffic. It is not known at this time what the name of the man is, or whether or not he will make a full recovery.
