Four people, including an Everett casino employee, have been indicted by a Middlesex grand jury for an assault that occurred on Oct. 23rd in a Encore Boston Harbor Elevator.
Massachusetts State Police Gaming Enforcement Unit uncovered video surveillance footage of 4 employees involved in the assault of a man in the casino elevator.

Matthew Haley, 27, of Cambridge was observed on video punching a stranger in the face, then using a shod foot to stomp his head. Jose Mercado, 32, of Boston was also involved. The two men proceeded to stomp and kick the victim together. The two were charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
The Encore employee, Brittany Dawson, 24, of Stoneham, was indicted as an accessory for holding the door to the garage open so the offenders could escape, and also gave them a ride away from the scene.
Dawson and a second accessory, Leilani Reyes, 20, of Somerville, were both indicted on one count each of impeding a gaming investigation.
Arraignment date to be announced.
