Southern Hills Hospital has confirmed that the motorcyclist who was killed in an accident on Memorial Day was a doctor there.
The victim has been identified as Peter George Vajtai, a man described as a gifted thoracic surgeon who was compassionate, sympathetic and kind.

The 70-year-old Vajtai was involved in an accident on South Durango Drive in the area of the I-215 Western Beltway bridge, Nevada accident reports state.
Nevada Highway Patrol official said Vajtai ran a red light as he turned his Trike Can-Am motorcycle on to Durango from Roy Horn Way.
As he rode through the intersection, a Kia Sorento crashed into the left side of his Trike.
Vajtai was thrown from his motorcycle as it burst into flames. He passed away at the scene of the crash.
The NHP said the driver of the Kia did not require medical attention.
NHP Trooper Travis Smaka spoke during a news conference after the deadly crash. He pleaded with motorists not to endanger their lives and other people’s lives by hurrying through intersections or driving at excessive speeds.
NHP said speed or impairment did not seem to be factors in the crash. However, investigations will continue and additional information could be published in future accident reports.
In April, 24 people died on Nevada’s roads compared to 23 in April 2019. April’s figure was almost twice that of March.
Andrew Bennett, the spokesman for Nevada’s Office of Traffic Safety pointed out that the increase in road deaths coincided with pleas for people to remain at home.
Some of the victims’ families may file wrongful death lawsuits.
