Patrick Jauron lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons. The pickup and the trailer in tow veered off the roadway. The vehicles crossed and damaged several private properties before coming to a rest. No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident.
Once the first responders and law enforcement personnel arrived on the scene of the crash, they failed to revive Jauron. He was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident. It isn’t clear from the police reports whether Jauron sustained physical injuries in the crash.
It is very likely that he suffered a medical condition which led to the incident, and also contributed to his death. According to the CHP, the investigators are looking at this as a possible cause. The Sonoma County Coroner’s office is among the local agencies collaborating with the troopers in the investigations. Further accident reports may reveal a definite cause that led to the crash and death of Jauron.
