Following the accident the corner of Litchfield Road and Indian School Road was closed down so that police could investigate, collect evidence, and remove debris. Traffic was rerouted during this time. However, once the police were finished with their work and the debris was removed, The intersection was reopened to traffic.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the accident. However, the victim’s injuries were too severe. Paramedics and EMTs were not able to revive the individual. He or she died before he or she even made it to the hospital.

Motorcycle riders tend to be more vulnerable to injuries in accidents due to the lack of a seatbelt, and protective doors, and ceilings that cars have. This is another unfortunate motorcycle accident that involved a fatality.

It is unclear whether or not the victim was survived by any family members or whether or not police have discovered the cause of the accident.
