Following the accident, authorities shut down the road to conduct an investigation, collect evidence, and clean the debris off of the road to make it safe again. Traffic was rerouted but there was an extensive amount of cars stuck in a traffic jam following the accident.
Right now, it is not clear if either of the drivers were under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident, or even which driver was responsible for causing the accident. All that is known is that one of the cars rolled over violently following impact and causing the victim to eject from the vehicle.
It is not clear if the other driver has sustained any significant injuries. But it is known that he or she did not die in the accident. The road is now cleared and traffic is flowing on it again normally. It is possible that the victim’s name could be released in the coming days.
