RIVERSIDE, CA – Authorities confirmed one fatality as a result of a car vs. semi-truck crash in Riverside’s Highgrove area on Wednesday morning.
According to My News LA, the crash occurred near the intersection of Center Street and Stephens Avenue around 6 a.m.

The driver of the car, 28-year-old Michael Mabry Colton, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared deceased.
Officials say the truck driver was not injured.
The accident remained under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
