LOS ANGELES, CA – A hit-and-run collision involving a stolen car left one person dead and another in critical condition Tuesday morning in North Hills, CBS Los Angeles reports.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hayvenhurst Avenue and West Nordhoff Street around 5:30 a.m.

Police say two people driving a stolen Range Rover ran a red light and crashed into a Honda Civic and two other vehicles.
The woman driving the Civic was killed and her male passenger was hospitalized in critical condition. Another driver was also injured and taken to the hospital.
Both suspects got out of the Range Rover and fled on foot. Police believe both suspects are men and are conducting an active search.
