Accidents are not uncommon in California and the United States. Often, the cause of an accident is traced back to a driver’s negligent behavior on the road. At other times, bad roadways or manufacturers’ defects cause an accident.
When an accident is caused by a fault on the roadway or an underlying defect in the makeup of the car, a lawsuit usually follows. The victim or his or her representatives can sue the city where the accident occurred or the company that built the car.
In either case, the plaintiff would need to hire auto accident attorneys for representation, and to find out the possible compensation the court would grant.
