One of the accident reports from Riverside, California, is that of a fatal crash that claimed the life of a Redlands resident. Chalacan Flores, 25, was part of a group of people involved in the Sunday night, April 5th, accident.
The California Highway Patrol said that the accident occurred a little before 10 p.m. An initial report showed that the CHP received a call about a high-occupancy vehicle crashing on the Interstate (60) Pomona Freeway.

The car was precisely on the westbound lane of the highway at Markel Street. The CHP said that several people came out of the wrecked vehicle after the accident, and stood on the roadway. Flores, who was in the car, died at the scene.
The CHP did not state whether Flores was the driver or a passenger in the crashed vehicle. The accident led to a truck and a sedan stopping on the right shoulder of the roadway. The accident remains under investigation, and anyone with information should contact the Riverside CHP.
Car accidents are caused by several reasons ranging from drivers’ negligence, nature to a defect in the vehicle. Some of the common causes are negligent driving, over speeding and reckless driving, and impaired driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or a combination of both.
Accident reports also show that aggressive drivers often cause accidents and adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, and fog. Running red lights and stop signs, driving at night, unsafe and wrong-way driving, and improper maneuvers also contribute.
