SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol reported multiple lane closures following a collision on State Route 86 Tuesday morning.
According to Caltrans, the accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. along the highway near the intersection with South Marina Drive.

It is still unclear how the accident happened or how many vehicles were involved at this time.
Two southbound lanes were closed for over three hours, reopening shortly after 12:40 p.m.
