LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Authorities say a driver was injured after crashing off a hillside on State Route 74 near Lake Elsinore on Tuesday morning.
According to My News LA, the accident happened around 7:50 a.m. roughly 10 miles southwest of Lake Elsinore.

Crews with the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and discovered a single vehicle had plunged down a 90 foot hillside. The driver was pinned in the wreckage and required extrication.
The motorist suffered unknown injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
All traffic on SR-74 was temporarily shut down to allow responders to safely rescue the driver.
