MORENO VALLEY, CA – Crews with the Riverside County Fire Department responded to a large home fire in Moreno Valley on Monday afternoon, reports My News LA.
When firefighters arrived at the scene on the 15000 block of Avenida De Calma around 3:30 p.m, they were met with heavy flames billowing from the garage.

The blaze spread to other parts of the two-story home, though firefighters were able to extinguish it in less than an hour, before the building became a total loss.
Officials said the fire displaced a family of three adults and three children. The American Red Cross has been called in to help them find a temporary place to stay.
