A woman from Kennewick, Washington, would require legal advice from a car injury attorney after her negligent act left a child injured. The authorities on Tuesday, April 21st, cited Michelle Rodriguez, 39, for careless driving.
The Washington State Patrol investigators said that at approximately 5:30 p.m., the woman struck another car on Highway 397. Rodriguez was allegedly not paying attention to the road while heading south in her Kia Sorento.

As the woman approached East 25th Avenue, she rear-ended a black Honda Accord that was stationary and trying to make a turn into a private driveway. The impact caused a 3-year-old unidentified child to sustain injuries, and the first responders took her to Trios Southridge Hospital.
Rodriguez, a passenger in her vehicle, and the driver of the Honda, identified as Shamae Orosco, 33, of Kennewick, did not sustain any injury. The WSP then cited the female driver for negligent driving and driving while distracted. They did not state why she took her eyes off the road, and there’s no additional information.
It takes a distracted driver 3 seconds to crash the vehicle he or she is driving. Distracted driving tops the list of factors that cause accidents among all age groups and drivers. It is caused by eating when behind the wheel, texting, calling or having a heated conversation with a passenger.
Traffic officials advise drivers to give 100% attention to the road when driving and avoid any and every form of distraction. Obeying this rule prevents accidents and ensures that drivers do not find themselves in a place where they need a car injury attorney.
