Most DUI-related crashes require drunk driving attorneys, and the crash that injured a man in Martinez, 17 miles to Oakland, California, calls for one. The accident victim, Michael Moore, 26, was involved in a near-fatal crash on Sunday afternoon, April 5th, with a white Toyota Corolla.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Moore overturned in a fire hydrant after leaving State Highway 4. At about 4:50 p.m., the young man headed west, just east of Pine Street ramp. His car then pulled off the freeway, crossed a fence and Arnold Drive, and overturned.

First responders found Moore still breathing and took him to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, where he spent the night hospitalized. CHP officer Brandon Correla said that they later arrested the young man on suspicion of DUI with injuries.
There was no other vehicle in the crash, and Moore seems to have been the only one in his car. The CHP is still investigating and has not stated when the driver will get booked.
Daily in the United States, almost 30 people die from impaired driving brought on by a driver’s drunkenness. That brings the number to one person every five minutes and about 10 000 lives per year.
Under California traffic laws, a driver with .08 and above blood alcohol concentration should not be on the road. Failure to obey this law is primarily a traffic offense, and it turns criminal when a death occurs, or a person gets injured.
Those involved in a DUI-related crash, either as a victim or an offender, should contact drunk driving attorneys for representation.
