Vehicle crashes are in different types depending on the facts and circumstances of each offense. The common types are single-vehicle crashes, two-vehicle or multiple-vehicle collisions, and the last two can either be a head-on collision, rear-end collision, or broadside collision.
Factors leading to any of the above cover speeding, impairment, driving distracted, running through red lights and traffic signs, wrong-way driving, and weaving in and out of traffic. Others are lane splitting, adverse weather conditions, adverse road conditions, tailgating, mechanical defects, and an underlying medical condition.
