A man who caused a hit-and-run accident in Bloomington, Illinois, would need the services of a Motorcycle Attorney. The police picked up 22-year-old Marshall Blanchard hours after he drove his bike through a protesting crowd on Sunday, May 31st.
The Bloomington Police Department said in a press briefing that the accident occurred downtown. Officers arrived at the scene of the crash, Front and Madison Streets, at about 7 p.m. They found a 22-year-old female with injuries to her torso and legs.

The medics took the young woman to the emergency department of BroMenn’s Emergency Services for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries. Another victim, identified as a 28-year-old male sustained injuries to his arm and received treatment at the emergency room at St. Joseph’s.
Blanchard fled the scene on his motorcycle, and the officers began a search for him. They located the suspect at about 10 p.m. Sunday and took him into custody. The police also towed the bike involved in the crash.
The BPD booked the man into McLean County Jail, and have not released any information about his bond. They charged him with reckless conduct, failure to obey a police officer, and felony leaving the scene of an accident with injury, hence a motorcycle attorney.
A hit-and-run causing bodily harm to another is a Class 4 felony in Illinois. The courts frown at it, and a convicted person faces between 1 to 3 years in prison and a $25 000 fine.
