On January 25, 2020, shortly after 5:30 PM, according to Spokeswoman Officer Sydney Melton with the Cobb Police, reported that officers attended a wreck involving a motorcycle. This occurred on the I75 South entrance ramp from North Marietta Parkway.
It is stated that Marcus Pinson lost control of the 2019 Harley Davidson Motorcycle that he was operating. As a result, it ran off the pavement of the entrance ramp into the right should. Mr. Pinson is 49 years old and is from Loganville. Officer Melton reported that as a result of his injuries, Mr. Pinson was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital and that he was in critical condition. Pinson’s wife was a passenger on the motorcycle, but she did not sustain any serious injuries.

This was the first of two accidents in Cobb to take place on this day that involved three motorists who sustained serious injuries. Both of which took place within a five-hour span.
