SAN DIEGO, CA – A 30-year-old man was seriously injured after a crash on Santo Road in Tierrasanta that police believe may have been caused by alcohol, Fox 5 San Diego reports.
The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on Sunday night as the victim drove his 2015 black Dodge Challenger south on Santo Road. He lost control and jumped the curb into the northbound lane. He then crossed back into the southbound lane, crashing through a retaining wall and a bench before being ejected from his vehicle.

The man was unconscious when first responders arrived. He is currently in stable condition with multiple facial fractures and internal injuries.
Police suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
