SAN DIEGO, CA – One man was taken to the hospital with serious burn injuries following a propane explosion and ensuing fire in Campo Tuesday.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the fire broke out at about 3 p.m. along Shocky Truck Trail near SR-94.

The victim suffered burns to his upper body and was able to walk to a nearby residence before being airlifted to UC San Diego to be treated for his injuries.
Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the blaze, which they believe was started by a propane tank explosion, before any further injuries occurred.
