ANAHEIM, CA – A Los Angeles man was sentenced to six years in prison on Monday for his role in a fatal DUI collision in Anaheim in 2019.
According to The Orange County Register, 32-year-old Johnathan Suarez was driving a 2010 Toyota that crashed into a 2019 Freightliner box truck on Interstate 5 near Euclid Street around 2:50 a.m. on March 13, 2019.

Authorities declared his passenger, 28-year-old Adan Aquino of Los Angeles, deceased at the scene.
Back on Nov. 20, Suarez pled guilty to driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of .08, driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury, and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
