First responders pronounced Sanchez deceased at the scene a short time later. His death resulted from injuries sustained in the accident. Riverside County authorities did not report any other injury or death from the traffic encounter.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up an investigation into the cause of the fatal occurrence. Possible causes include over speeding, impairment by alcohol, or a controlled substance. Mechanical faults in the vehicle, an underlying health condition, or a possible distraction are also known causes of single motorcycle accidents.
An experienced motorcycle accident attorney representing the victim can look into the accident, review the available evidence, and access other possible causes. If the accident results from factors outside the control of the victim, the rider, or family members can file a lawsuit in court to secure the appropriate compensations.
Such cases may involve unforeseen road hazards, unfavorable government policies, or the involvement of a third party. Notwithstanding, putting safety measures in place to discourage motorcycle accidents or reduce its repercussion remains the best approach.
