Jose Fernandez, a 41-year-old Brockton man, was arraigned today in Orleans District Court after striking Old Bass River Road bridge in Dennis, Mass. last December with the hydraulic lift he was hauling as cargo on his tractor trailer, injuring a nearby woman.
The injured Brewster woman, who remains unidentified, was driving a 2014 Mazda 3 on route 6 when the impact happened. Chunks of concrete were knocked loose from the bridge overpass and hit the hood and windshield of the woman’s vehicle. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and released.
