Air transport is considered one of the safest means of travel, but once in a while, a plane crash occurs and ends fatally for those on board. Accident reports show that several reasons lead to an aircraft crash, and it ranges from human errors to unforeseen conditions.
One of the most common causes of a plane crash is a pilot error; it accounts for approximately half of all aircraft crashes. Another is an undetected mechanical problem, which covers manufacturer’s defects, inadequate repairs, and failure to replace old equipment. Others are weather problems and an air traffic controller’s error.
