A drunk driving attorney’s services would come in handy for a man whom the police in Boulder Hill, Illinois, took into custody for DUI and for leaving the scene of an accident. The authorities arrested Isidro Medina, 29, on Sunday, May 17th, for an accident that took place earlier that day.
The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that deputies at about 4:18 a.m. responded to a 911 call in the area of 0-99-block of Circle Drive West. The call reported a traffic crash with no injuries.

When the officers arrived, the driver — Medina — of the vehicle that caused the crash was nowhere in sight. The preliminary investigation uncovered that the man, a resident of Old Post Road, struck an unoccupied parked vehicle and left the scene without calling it in.
The deputies later tracked the man down and arrested him. They charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information, and damaging an unattended vehicle.
The police took Medina to Kendall County Jail, and according to jail records, he left after posting bail. There is no additional information at this time, and KCSO did not indicate if the investigation is ongoing.
A DUI and leaving the scene of an accident are severe offenses in Illinois. The state law provides that those involved in an accident remain at the scene, attend to the wounded, and leave behind their information. Even if there’s no injury, the person should still do the first and the third.
Those involved in DUI-related crashes should contact a drunk driving attorney for legal advice and representation.
