Police and first responders on the scene described Rhodes as being combative and violent at the scene of the accident. They observed that she could potentially be under the influence of alcohol but were unable to confirm at the scene.
She was described as having a glassy gaze and slurred speech-classic indicators of inebriation.
The semi-truck driver that was involved in the accident was not harmed. Their name has not been released publicly.
Rhodes was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that she sustained in the accident. The mugshot taken shows Rhodes covered in a blanket and sitting in a wheelchair. Her head appears to have suffered some injury in the accident.
Rhodes was booked into the Wichita County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated. She was released on the same day with a $500 recognizant bond.
There has not been an update as to when she will receive a court date for the incident. It is unclear if this was the first DUI Rhodes has obtained.
