Motor vehicle crashes are not uncommon in Illinois, and they are one of the leading causes of death in the state and the United States. An accident can be a solo car crash or a collision involving two vehicles or more.
They are usually the resultant effect of negligence or factors beyond the control of the motorist. The two cover impairment of drugs or alcohol, which leads to speeding and reckless driving, manufacturer or mechanical defects, and an underlying medical condition.
