Tuesday, March 17th, saw the man responsible for the fatal Blue Ridge, Georgia, accident get charged for driving under the influence. The charge against Hunter Ethan Elliot, 23, stem from his actions, which led to the death of 2-year-old, Cohen Bryson.
The accident caused by Elliot occurred on the night of Sunday, March 15th. He is facing a homicide by vehicle in the first-degree charge, as well as driving under the influence of alcohol.

Georgia State Patrol trooper, Shane Matheson, swore out 14 warrants against the young man, and they charged him with fourteen different offenses. Elliot, who resides in 730 Tilley Road, Talking Rock, Georgia, is facing misdemeanor hit-and-run.
He is facing first-degree felony homicide by vehicle and misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked. Two felony counts of serious injury by vehicle, and misdemeanor, distracted driving also made the list.
Elliot also has a count of misdemeanor open container violation, misdemeanor DUI alcohol, misdemeanor improper exhaust system, misdemeanor following too closely, and misdemeanor glazing of windows.
The warrant also read a count of misdemeanor reckless driving, misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, another count for glazing windows, and misdemeanor operating a vehicle with altered suspension.
The warrant showed that the driver of the vehicle Elliot slammed into, Joshua Bryson, was seriously injured in the accident. However, the initial report by the GSP stated that the man was not injured.
The culmination of the charges against the young man means prison time, a fine, and the suspension of Elliot’s driving privileges for a period determined by the court.
