SAN DIEGO, CA – Police are on the lookout for a driver who seriously injured a bicyclist in Pacific Beach on Monday night and then fled the scene.
The Times of San Diego reports that the incident happened at about 10:20 p.m. on April 19, near the intersection of Ingraham Street and Fortuna Avenue. A dark, four-dour SUV rear-ended a bicyclist, throwing the 39-year-old woman to the ground face-first.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, including a fractured skull and a brain bleed.
The vehicle, which sustained front-end damage in the collision, proceeded south on Ingraham. Its whereabouts were unknown as of Tuesday, and the Times of San Diego did not provide a description of its driver.
