40-year-old Clifton Johnson would need a drunk driving attorney following his arrest by the police in Hesperia, California, on Sunday, May 7th. The suspect drove under the influence and crashed the car he was driving.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman, Jodi Miller, said that the accident occurred around 5:09 a.m. on Bear Valley Road, precisely close to where the road intersects with Eleventh Avenue. When the deputies arrived at the scene, they found that the vehicle involved went off the roadway and became stuck in some bushes.

A fire started underneath the damaged car, and the fire department extinguished it. The spokeswoman said that Johnson was the only occupant of the vehicle, and he was able to alight from it, uninjured. The deputies discovered the suspect was under the influence and booked him into the High Desert Detention Center on suspicion of DUI.
Jail records show that the SBCSO is holding Johnson without bail as he violated his post-release community supervision. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9th, in a Victorville courtroom. There is no additional information.
A DUI driver is someone who drives a vehicle with a .08% or above blood alcohol concentration. The legal limit is below that number, and offenders under California law face time in jail, a fine, suspension of driving privileges, and compulsory alcohol education program.
Those involved in DUI-related accidents should seek legal advice and, if needed, representation from an experienced drunk driving attorney.
