Drivers must avoid driving at excessive speeds when they are on the roadway. Speeding makes it difficult for them to react or adjust in time to sudden occurrences.
Speeding can cause drivers to lose control of their vehicles, thus colliding with other cars or going off the road. Most times, accidents caused by excessive speeding lead to motorists sustaining severe injuries that could also be fatal.
Patrol officers always caution drivers against speeding and flag offending drivers. Accident reports show that excessive speeding is a significant factor in many collisions that occur on roadways. Drivers must drive safely and play their part in preventing crashes.
