A Thursday, March 12, accident has left one man dead and two others injured. The Paradise Police Department responded to the accident at 12:48 p.m. to find a head-on collision between two vehicles in the area of Clark Road and Old Clark Road.
Upon arriving at the scene and doing their initial investigation, police determined that 56-year-old Roger Alan Sharp had been traveling northward. For the reason that has yet to be determined, Sharp drifted into the southbound lane, colliding with 33-year-old Nathan Christopher Tilton.

Tilton had one passenger in the vehicle with him, and their name has not been released.
According to the Paradise police, Sharp sustained severe injuries in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tilton and his unnamed passenger were transported by ambulance to a hospital in the area with non-life threatening injuries. There was no update on their condition in the news release.
Police are still investigating the circumstances that resulted in the accident. They do not believe that alcohol or drugs causing impairment caused the accident. There is a possibility that Sharp was distracted at the time of the accident.
The news release did not say what the weather was like during the accident. At this point, the police aren’t sure what has caused the drift to the southbound lane.
The police need help, and if there is anyone who has any information regarding the accident, they are requesting it be called in. There were no witnesses that have come forward at present.
