A drunk driving attorney would be useful to the man arrested for driving under the influence in Fresno County, California. According to the California Highway Patrol, Francisco Munoz, 28, of Los Angeles, caused an accident on Saturday afternoon, August 15th, that claimed his passenger’s life.
The solo vehicle crash happened on Highway 198 in the westside hills area of the county. The report of the incident came in around 4:10 p.m. near Parkfield Grade just west of Coalinga. Sgt. Hugo Solorio said that a silver Toyota Corolla operated by Munoz headed east on the highway.

The suspect lost control of his car, and it spun into a dirt embankment. The Corolla then overturned and stopped on its wheels on the dam. The impact left the right-front passenger of the car severely injured, and the victim passed away en-route to the area hospital.
Munoz suffered moderate injuries, and the investigators said that they suspected that he was intoxicated with either drugs or alcohol. The highway patrol placed the suspect under arrest and booked him into the Fresno County Jail on charges of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
Under the California Vehicle Code, a person who operates a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol is liable to answer to a DUI charge. The law provides that adult drivers must not drive with a blood alcohol concentration of .08% and above, and teenagers under 21, must have below .01%.
