31-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez, a resident of Fontana, California, surrendered to the Fontana Police Department for an accident that occurred in the city. The man walked in after fleeing the scene of an accident that occurred on Wednesday night, May 27th, and would need a car accident attorney.
In a press briefing, the police said that the suspect struck and killed a 55-year-old male riding a motorized wheelchair in unclear circumstances. The initial investigation showed that the deceased was on Foothill Boulevard, and Rodriguez was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus on the same roadway.

The suspect struck the pedestrian and fled the scene, thereby making the accident a hit-and-run. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the victim lying on the roadway with extensive injuries.
The police said the man later gave in to his wounds but did not state if it happened at the accident site, in transit to a hospital, or while receiving treatment in the latter. Officers canvassing Foothill found Rodriguez’s Ford parked a short distance from the crash site, but he was not in it.
The man later went to the police station and turned himself in. The FPD took the suspect into custody, and the charges against him are currently unavailable. Those who witnessed the collision should contact the investigators at the station to give their statement.
A hit-and-run is a severe offense under California law, and anyone liable for one should contact a car accident attorney for legal advice and representation.
