At the same time, a Dodge SUV was heading south, and the county police said that the driver crossed into the northbound traffic and collided with the Kia. The collision’s impact caused Glassman’s vehicle to crash with another northbound Kia, and it ended up against a guardrail.
The collision also involved a fourth car, leaving it with rear-end damage. When San Diego Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene, they found Glassman unresponsive and pronounced him dead. The driver of the other Kia, identified as a 48-year-old man, sustained spinal and sternal wounds, several cuts, and bruising to his chest and stomach area.
The 20-year-old driver of the Dodge suffered a fractured left leg, broken nose, right lung wound, and an orbital fracture. The paramedics transported the injured victims to an area hospital for treatment. The accident’s cause is still under investigation, and there’s no additional information at this time.
