Three weeks after a man lost his life in a multiple vehicle collision in the Spokane area of Washington, the authorities released his identity. In updated accident reports of Wednesday, May 27th, the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office disclosed the deceased’s name as 44-year-old Kevin Witcher.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said in the preliminary accident report that the deceased’s life ended in an accident started by the driver of a Ford pickup. On the morning of Monday, May 11th, the latter was southbound on Argonne Road, on the northside of Bigelow Gulch Road.

At around 6:40 a.m., the unidentified driver veered across the center line and collided with a Honda sedan. Witcher drove the latter, and he sustained severe injuries from the impact. The man didn’t make it to the hospital, and the first responders declared him dead.
The sheriff’s office said that the first vehicle rolled, and went on to collide against a GMC pickup. The driver of the latter did not sustain any injury, but the Ford driver suffered minor wounds and received treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
The police did not release any additional detail in the accident report. They are waiting for the toxicology test to determine if intoxicating substances were factors in the crash, and will provide an update when they have the result.
