ANAHEIM, CA – A dump truck flew off the 57 freeway and crashed into an apartment building, leaving one person dead and two injured, ABC 7 reports.
The incident occurred near Lincoln Avenue around 12:40 p.m. A dump truck lost control on the southbound exit ramp and hit two vehicles before careening off the ramp, through a carport wall and into the apartments.

A 61-year-old man inside one of the apartments was killed. The 54-year old truck driver and another 69-year-old motorist were hospitalized with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening.
It is still unclear what originally caused the dump truck to lose control.
