A 19-year-old male teenager would need a top accident lawyer’s services following his arrest for crashing into a home in Lemoore, California. The Lemoore Police Department said Roger Cabuenas Jr. was under the influence when the accident happened late Friday.
The police said the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Sunset Avenue. The suspect ran from officers as they arrived at the scene, leaving behind a man he struck inside the house.

Officers said they chased Cabuenas Jr. for a short distance, and he pulled a loaded firearm on them. They eventually restrained the suspect and took him into custody. The investigators said the crash left the victim pinned between the vehicle and debris.
First responders extricated the man, and medics conveyed him to Adventist Health in Hanford, where he passed away while undergoing treatment. The police booked Cabuenas Jr. into the Kings County Jail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of drugs, and hit-and-run.
The three offenses are the standard charges from most motor vehicle accidents. The three are frowned at by the California justice system, and their primary punishments cover imprisonment and payment of fines.
To prove gross vehicular manslaughter, the prosecution must show that the offender drove under the influence of drugs, and while in that state, they committed a misdemeanor, infraction, or unlawful act that resulted in death. They must also prove that the person was grossly negligent when they committed the offense.
