BAKERSFIELD, CA – Authorities say a building in southwest Bakersfield sustained heavy damage after a truck slammed into it on Sunday night.
According to KGET, the New Generation Real Estate Group building near the intersection of Stine Road and Beechwood Street was struck by a Nissan pickup truck.

Witnesses said they saw the driver flee from the scene on foot.
