One of the drivers involved in a vehicle collision on Harbor (110) Freeway, Gardena, California, has been identified. In an update made to the car accident report on Monday, September 14th, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Donald Olkie, a 53-year-old resident of Torrance.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car crash happened around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, September 12th. It occurred on the 182nd Street on-ramp of the northbound 110. Olkie drove a 2012 Mazda 3 that collided with a 2017 Ford Fusion.

The two vehicles suffered severe damage from the collision, leaving both drivers with fatal injuries. The second motorist, a female, remains unidentified. The coroner would release an update on the woman’s identity at a later time.
