A car accident report from the San Marcos area of Texas, tells of the tragic deaths of two passengers in a single-vehicle crash. The authorities disclosed the identity of the two who died in the Sunday, May 24th, accident as 24-year-old Destiny Bridges, and 31-year-old Sean Thompson. The latter was married to the driver.
The San Marcos Police Department investigators said in the preliminary accident report that ten people were traveling in a vehicle built to accommodate five passengers. The white 2002 Ford Explorer was traveling on the northbound lanes of Interstate 35, precisely the 200 block area of the roadway.

The car which the police believe was traveling at top speed veered off the road and flipped. Witnesses said that the Ford rolled multiple times, and ended up on the east access road. Nine out of the ten occupants of the vehicle were ejected and sustained various degrees of injuries.
Bridges sustained fatal wounds that claimed her life at the accident site, while Thompson’s life ended while receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital. Three children, aged seven, eight, and nine, who sustained severe wounds, are at the Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin in critical and non-stable conditions.
Two other children did not require medical attention as they were relatively unhurt. Three adults with multiple injuries are at Seton Ascension Hospital receiving treatment. The police did not mention if the driver sustained injuries, but they noted the motorist was the only person wearing a seat belt.
The reports of the car accident also disclosed that a blown tire contributed to the crash. The investigation is ongoing, and the authorities will provide an update later.
