Witnesses commented on how aggressive Zulalyan was acting after the initial accident. Suvvotima even remarked that a normal person would not act like that after an accident.
There has not been any indication of injuries sustained by either driver in the accident. Zulalyan was arrested at the scene for his behavior and the accident.
It is unclear if the driver of the truck is facing any charges for the initial accident.
Zulalyan is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon. They are classifying his vehicle as the weapon in this instance.
He was released from jail after posting a $30,000 bond.
The video circling the internet shows that there were pedestrians in danger during the accident. The truck had been next to a bus stop at the time of the accident. You can see people fleeing from the area as the BMW repeatedly hits the truck.
