A 32-year-old man from Buna suffered serious injuries this week after his vehicle encountered a rollover crash on a highway in Jasper County, Texas. The incident took place on Thursday morning, June 18, as stated in the accident reports obtained from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The DPS recorded the crash just after 11 a.m. on State Highway 62 in the County Road 826 area. The motorist was driving a pickup truck when the collision happened and appeared to have been the only occupant of the wrecked vehicle.

The 1996 Chevrolet pickup was traveling through the north traffic lanes of Highway 62 at speeds not yet determined. The truck suddenly drifted off the roadway to the north shoulder, where it slammed into a heap of asphalt rocks. The impact of the collision caused the car to overturn multiple times before coming to rest.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and discovered the driver, Cody Williamson, in critical condition. They transported him to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, via a road ambulance. The nature of his injuries remains undisclosed.
