CHULA VISTA, CA – A 5-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after falling out of a vehicle he was riding in on Thursday night, ABC 10 San Diego reports.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on the Telegraph Canyon Road exit from southbound I-805. The boy managed to open the door of the moving car on his own before falling out onto the exit ramp. He was not in a child seat at the time.

A car travelling behind the boy was able to slam on the brakes and avoid hitting him. He suffered several scrapes and bruises and was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital.
