Investigators gathered that Anderson, 26, was driving a vehicle northbound on Houston Avenue, with a single passenger on board when he collided with a Nissan Frontier.
Timothy Mills, 52, was the driver and sole occupant of the Nissan, which was reportedly travelling through the west traffic lanes on Eisenhower at the time of the crash.
The three men involved in the tragic incident suffered major injuries as a result and were transported to Navicent Health Medical Center for urgent treatment.
While the two motorists were soon declared out of danger, and listed in stable conditions, the passenger, riding in Anderson’s car, eventually died from his injuries.
Authorities identified the deceased man as Carlos Coleman, a 53-year-old Macon resident.
An investigation into the fatal crash, which led to Coleman’s death is underway. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has requested anyone with useful information that could facilitate the investigative process to contact the area office.
Further details about the case would be made available once documented in the accident reports.
