A high-speed chase ensued going from Benicia, in Solano County, to Martinez, in Contra Costa County, and back to Vallejo, in Solano County. The chase continued into the Glen Cove area of Vallejo where the driver took a turn too quickly at Rollingwood Drive, lost control, and flipped the vehicle.
The chase ended about 6:20 p.m. California Highway Patrol air units assisted in the chase.
The teens suffered minor injuries and medical staff looked them over before being booked.
At the time the chase ended, four teens were in the pickup truck. The two suspected in the carjacking were booked into Solano County juvenile hall. Authorities released the other two to their parents.
