CHULA VISTA, CA – Two teenage girls were injured when they were hit by a car in Chula Vista on Monday night, according to NBC San Diego.
The victims were hit by a northbound car on Fourth Avenue at the Park Way intersection. They were attempting to cross in a marked crosswalk around 7:40 p.m.

Both girls were hospitalized with serious injuries and one remains in critical condition. The driver, who is a man in his sixties, remained on the scene and is not suspected of impaired driving.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of this accident.
