FRESNO, CA – According to ABC 30, a bicyclist died after being struck by a truck in central Fresno on Saturday morning.
The preliminary report stated the accident occurred at the intersection of North Weber Avenue and West Floradora Avenue shortly before 3 a.m.

When police arrived, they discovered the bicyclist was ejected in the collision and sustained major injuries. He was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities identified the victim as 38-year-old Alex Valles.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to have played a role.
N Weber Ave between West Olive Avenue and West McKinley Avenue was shut down for multiple hours while officers investigated.
